Photographs: A Media Play Halloween

Basically, it was Halloween and I decided to look like Paul McCartney.  I tried to rent a Beatle-suit like the one they wore on Ed Sullivan.  Not one in town.  Thought about something Magical Mystery Tour-ish.  Nope.  Pondered Paul's Wings Over America uniform.  Not a shot.  Then a spark hit.  "Sgt. Pepper" I exclaimed in the middle of a packed costume rental shop.  And I found my band uniform, perfect for the best Paul McCartney I could do.

Continuing the green fetish...this is me doing my best (though not good enough) imitation of Paul McCartney in Sgt. Pepper.  The band uniform cost me a bloody fortune to rent, but it was worth it, if only to the look on customer's faces, as yes, this picture was taken at work.  I seriously think that the 35mm snapshot of this is one of the best that's ever been taken of me, I also think that the scan does it little justice.  By the way, I am quite aware that Paul wore a different color, you think that I had a lot of choices?  C'mon!  It was like October 29th, choices were limited.

Speaking of, I am more of a fan of Paul's solo work and his music with Wings.  I've always preferred 70's music, and Paul is certainly the cream of the crop when it comes to the 70's.  As for why I wore a Beatle-y outfit, you don't think I could find clothes similar to those worn in Give My Regards to Broadstreet now do you?

A picture of me again (sensing a theme yet?) this time in the music department.  (McCartney Fans Note: Take a look at the bottom right corner... it's Standing Stone, and above it, Rushes.  I don't play guitar at all, the prop is something I borrowed from work, now that Media Play is now selling musical equipment (what's next, women's shoes?)
